In pursuance of the instructions of the Head of State, voiced in the Address to the People of Kazakhstan "A just state. One nation. Prosperous Society" on September 1, 2022, changes are envisaged in the system of compulsory social insurance, which will affect the parameters of the appointment of two social benefits:
firstly, the period of social benefits for child care will be increased from one to one and a half year;
secondly, when calculating the amount of social benefits in case of job loss, the income replacement coefficient will be increased from 0.4 to 0.45.
New changes already in 2023 will affect more than 240 thousand recipients of social benefit for child care and more than 117 thousand citizens who will receive social benefit in case of job loss in the increased amount.
Thus, the amount of social benefits for working citizens is greater than for non-working citizens.
The State Social Insurance Fund has begun to implement all the necessary measures to ensure the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State in due time.
