In June 2017, the branches of JSC "State Social Insurance Fund" (hereinafter - Fund) held 119 meetings in labor collectives and with representatives of employers (hereinafter referred to as meetings). The total number of employees of enterprises who took part in the meetings amounted to 4,074 people.

As part of the clarification of the article of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev “Looking into the future: Modernization of public consciousness” , the branches of the Fund also carried out work to clarify the issues of social security and the totality of three areas of modernization proposed by the Head of State N. Nazarbayev: the political component (Constitutional reform), modernization of the economy (modernization 3.0) and public consciousness (article “Looking into the future: modernization of public consciousness”) at meetings with labor collectives and representatives of employers.

Employees of the branches of the Fund took part in 30 field meetings as part of mobile groups organized by the territorial Departments of the Committee for Labor, Social Protection and Migration of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan and local executive bodies.

Representatives of the branches of the Fund organized 17 training seminars with the participation of employees of NJSC State Corporation "Government for Citizens".

At meetings and seminars, employees of the Fund informed, among other things:

- about the activities of the Fund;

- on the procedure for paying social contributions to the Fund;

- on the procedure for making social payments for six types of social risks from the Fund;

- on the procedure for applying for the appointment of social payments, including for "composite" public services in the field of compulsory social insurance.

During the meetings, the employees of the enterprises asked the following questions:

- Are mandatory pension contributions deducted from social payments?

- Who is responsible for late payment of social contributions? What measures are being taken?

- Which body controls the payment of social contributions?

- How to make a refund if an error is found when transferring social contributions?

- Is it possible to recalculate social payments if social contributions were paid after applying for payment?

- Is it possible to return social contributions if there has never been a social risk?

- In what cases are payments made from the republican budget and from the SSIF JSC?

- How and where can you clarify the correctness of determining the amount of social benefits?

- Will the social payment for child care be terminated if the mother goes to work?

- Will the social payment for child care be extended up to 3 years?

- Is it possible to re-apply for the appointment of social benefits in case of job loss?

All questions were answered by representatives of the Foundation within their competence.
