The right to a social payment for pregnancy and childbirth from the State Social Insurance Fund (hereinafter - SSIF) arises from the date of vacation indicated on the sick leave issued in the manner determined by the authorized body in the field of healthcare.

The sick leave is issued in accordance with paragraph 57 of the Rules for the examination of temporary disability, as well as the issuance of a sheet or certificate of temporary disability, approved by order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 18, 2020 No. ҚР ДСМ-198/2020 for various periods.

Thus, the State Social Insurance Fund pays for  all days of temporary disability due to pregnancy and childbirth according to the sick leave issued by the medical organization.
