Social benefits

For 9 months of 2017, benefits from the State Social Insurance Fund (hereinafter - SSIF) amounted to 115.7 billion tenge. Including:

- in case of loss of a breadwinner - 5.8 billion tenge (5%),

- in case of disability - 7.4 billion tenge (6.4%),

- in case of job loss - 1.5 billion tenge (1.3%),

- in case of loss of income due to pregnancy and childbirth, adoption (adoption) of a newborn child (children) - 48.0 billion tenge (41.5%),

- in case of loss of income in connection with caring for a child until he reaches the age of one year - 53.0 billion tenge (45.8%).

The average amount of benefits from the SSIF for pregnancy and childbirth, in connection with the adoption of a newborn child (children) amounted to 333 thousand 158 tenge, the number of recipients of the payment amounted to 140.9 thousand people.

The amount of social benefits for caring for a child until he reaches the age of one year amounted to 24 thousand 370 tenge, 351.0 thousand people received it.

Social benefits in case of job loss were received by 26.0 thousand people, its average amount was 18 thousand 425 tenge.

More than 38.3 thousand Kazakhstanis were provided with benefits in case of loss of a breadwinner, the average amount of which amounted to 15 thousand 164 tenge.

Another 75.1 thousand citizens received social benefits in case of disability. The average amount of payment was 12 thousand 100 tenge.

During the reporting period, 358,610 social benefits were assigned.

12,938 people applied for social benefits through the e-government portal.

As part of the provision of "Composite Services", through the Departments of Employment and Social Programs, documents were accepted for the appointment of social benefits in case of job loss for 14,061 applicants. Through the Departments of Medical and Social Expertise, 13,419 applicants applied for a social benefit in case of disability.

Social contributions.

The number of participants in the system of compulsory social insurance amounted to 5.6 million people.

The Fund monthly monitors the completeness of benefits of social contributions by payers. Thus, the total number of payers of social contributions (with a staff of 50 or more people) in August of this year amounted to 12,646.

Of these, for 6032 payers (47.7%) there was a decrease in the number of participants (employees) compared to the previous month.

For payers who have allowed a reduction in the transfer of social contributions for participants in the compulsory social insurance system, the Fund's branches are working to find out the reason for the reduction.

In the reporting period, overpaid (erroneously) paid social contributions totaling 310.7 million tenge were returned to payers.

meetings with labor collectives of 998 organizations and enterprises attended by 34,225 people. Employees of the SSIF inform citizens about the system of compulsory social insurance, introduce them to the main directions for further modernization of the social and labor sphere of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the possibilities of obtaining public services, including in electronic format through the e-government portal.

A " Social Security Scorecard " has been developed, the purpose of which is to inform the public about the main indicators of the system of compulsory social insurance, to raise awareness of citizens about the rights and opportunities for additional social support for the working population.
