In accordance with the program article of the Leader of the Nation N.A. Nazarbayev "Kazakhstan's path - 2050: Common goal, common interests, common future", the State Social Insurance Fund constantly carries out extensive work to ensure and protect the social rights and interests of citizens of our country.

Since 2018, the implementation of a number of social reforms in the field of labor and social security has begun, related to the Concept for the modernization of social services, the introduction of targeted social assistance of a new format, etc.

In order to strengthen explanatory work among the population, on November 15, 2017, a working meeting of the SSIF employees with the akim of the Mangystau region, Yeraly Tugzhanov, was held and the meeting was chaired by the deputy akim of the Mangystau region, Sholpan Ilmukhanbetova.
The meeting was attended by the heads of social and financial structures in the Mangistau region: the Department of the Committee for Labor, Social Protection and Migration, the Department of State Revenues, the branch of the NJSC "Government for Citizens" of the Office for the Coordination of Employment and Social Programs, Employment Centers, the Chamber of Entrepreneurs and trade union organizations and others.

Specialists of the SSIF informed the participants about the work to increase the coverage of the population with the compulsory social insurance system and the provision of "composite" services for job loss through the Employment Centers of the Mangystau region.

The importance of timely payment of social contributions, the work of the anti-crisis headquarters, the need for interaction between the SSIF branch and state bodies, work with trade unions and the Chamber of Entrepreneurs was also noted.

Based on the results of the meeting, it was decided to consider the issue of including a representative of the Mangystau branch of the SSIF in the Anti-Crisis Headquarters, as well as to intensify work to reduce the amount of debt on social contributions. in order to improve the implementation of the rights and opportunities provided by the state to receive social benefits for disability, job loss, loss of a breadwinner, pregnancy and childbirth, child care.

On the same day, on the basis of the regional chamber of entrepreneurs "Atameken" a meeting was held with entrepreneurs in Aktau, during which the issues of the correctness of payment of social contributions and mandatory pension contributions, changes in legislation in the social, labor and tax sphere, and upcoming social reforms were discussed.

Also, a meeting was held with teachers and students of the Mangystau Polytechnic College, at which it was told how the Kazakhstan system of compulsory social insurance works, what rights and benefits a participant in the system has, why it is necessary to actively participate in the social insurance system.
