The State Social Insurance Fund (SSIF) provides additional support for working citizens. SSIF payments are considered as an addition to government benefits from the budget, such as disability or loss of breadwinner allowances.

Social payments from the State Social Insurance Fund are received by those who officially worked and social contributions were paid for them. The amount of social benefits directly depends on the income from which the royalties were paid, as well as on the duration of their payment.

Social contributions are paid at the expense of the employer, and not from the income of employees.

“We make payments in case of disability, family loss of a breadwinner, loss of a job, payments to women for pregnancy and childbirth, when they go on maternity leave, in connection with the adoption of a newborn child, as well as payments for caring for a child up to the age of 1 year.

That is, in all these cases, a participant in the system or his family receives social payments from our Fund, in addition to those social benefits that are paid by the state.

In case of disability, social payment is assigned for the entire period of its loss. In this case, the amount of the payment depends on the group of disability.

If we talk about the social benefit in case of breadwinner loss, then it is paid to the children of a deceased parent until they reach the age of majority. But if the children are full-time students, then they will receive social benefits from the State Social Insurance Fund until the age of 23.

Social benefits in case of job loss are received by citizens officially registered as unemployed. The term for receiving payments is from one to six months.

Through the system of support for motherhood and childhood, favorable conditions are created for increasing the birth rate and improving the situation of families with children. More than 93% of all payments from the State Social Insurance Fund are support for women going on maternity leave and parental leave for up to one year.

The social benefit for pregnancy and childbirth is paid at a time and provides for all days of maternity leave in which the woman is. When adopting a newborn child, a person also receives all the due payments related to maternity leave and parental leave.

It must be remembered that in addition to additional support from the State Social Insurance Fund, both working and non-working parents, when a baby is born, receive a one-time state allowance for the birth of a child at the expense of budgetary funds,” said Kemel N.M.

“Only for 9 months of this year, more than 631,000 Kazakhstanis received payments from the State Social Insurance Fund in the amount of 115.6 billion tenge.
