On December 22, 2017, a seminar-meeting was held in Astana with the participation of the directors of the branches of SSIF JSC, the main purpose of which was to summarize the activities of the Fund's branches for 2017 and determine the main directions of their development for 2018.
Opening the meeting, the President of SSIF JSC Saule Dyusenova emphasized that the work of the branches is the basis for the implementation of the tasks and challenges that the Fund faces. “The branches should develop in accordance with the tasks set and in accordance with the requirements of the present time. We strive to develop an electronic service, expand service delivery channels, switch to modern service methods, and give citizens the opportunity to choose how to interact with the Fund,” she said.
Particular attention was paid to the fact that every citizen of our country must exercise the rights and opportunities provided by the state to receive social benefits for disability, job loss, loss of a breadwinner, pregnancy and childbirth, and child care.
During the meeting, issues of timely payment of social contributions, the work of anti-crisis headquarters, the need for interaction between the branches of the State Social Insurance Fund and state bodies, work with trade unions and the Chamber of Entrepreneurs, etc. were considered.
The SSIF will continue to increase the coverage of the population and involvement in the system of compulsory social insurance, ensure the availability and quality of social services.
To this end, the Fund has developed a Development Strategy for 2017-2021, within the framework of which new approaches to organizing work will be developed and put into practice, using new technologies, as well as the best experience in the field of social insurance. This, in turn, will increase the financial responsibility of employers, expand the coverage of the country's population with the system of compulsory social insurance, and thus increase the level of social protection of citizens.
