During the meeting, the mobile group told about the measures taken to implement new initiatives of the Head of State in the social and labor sphere, as well as sections of the draft Social Code. The issues of implementation of the Digital Family Map, new employment policy, migration policy, support for families with children, modernization of the system of special social services, development of the pension system were discussed.

Employers and workers were interested in raising the minimum wage and the amount of unemployment benefits.

"In Kazakhstan, the minimum wage is the minimum social standard and is compulsory for all employers. From January 1, 2023 the MW will be increased to 70 thousand tenge, this will cover 1.8 million people," said the Deputy Head of the Department of Coordination of Employment and Social Programs in Zhambyl region G. Meyrmanov.

Besides, N. Kemel explained separately benefit in case of unemployment, which is paid to the employee from SSIF regardless of the reason of dismissal: "According to the Address of the Head of State, from January 1, 2023, the amount of social payment on the loss of employment will be increased up to 45% of the average monthly income of the participant of social insurance system, for whom social deductions were transferred to SSIF. This will affect more than 117 thousand people in 2023".

There were also given answers to questions on pensions, social insurance against accidents at work, the regulation of labor relations.
