A special mobile group formed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, composed of Vice Minister Erbol Ospanov, Director of Employment Department of the Ministry Askar Niyazov and General Director of JSC "SSIF" Nursulu Kemel, visited Kazygurt, Shardara and Keles districts of Turkestan region.

Meetings were held with the population, youth, health care, education and social protection workers, akims of rural districts and maslikhat deputies, at which the main directions of the Address of the Head of State to the people of Kazakhstan and the norms of the draft Social Code were explained.

Nursulu Kemel spoke about the increase from January 1, 2023 of the size of the social benefit in case of job loss from the State Social Insurance Fund by an average of 13% and the increase in the duration of the social benefit for caring for a child from one year to one and a half years. These measures are also reflected in the draft Social Code.

At the same time, Nursulu Kemel noted that the rate of social contributions for employers for employees in the State Social Insurance Fund remains unchanged. 

She informed about the strengthening of social support measures for citizens, which will be enshrined in the Social Code at the legislative level, including measures to support families with children, modernize the system of special social services, and increase pension payments.

On October 13, the mobile group will continue its work in the Turkestan region, meetings will be held with the population in the Suzak region and the city of Kentau.
