The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan Svetlana Zhakupova on the eve of the Social Workers Day, celebrated on the last Sunday of October, congratulated social workers of Kazakhstan on the upcoming professional holiday, wishing good health, happiness, peace and prosperity.

"Since 2011, by Presidential Decree, the last Sunday of October has been assigned to the professional holiday of employees of the social protection system. Dear colleagues, please accept my sincere congratulations!

Social Workers' Day is an opportunity to celebrate the significance and value of social work, as well as to express appreciation and respect for social workers for their important work. This holiday reminds us of the need to take care and support those who are in a difficult life situation, and of the importance of social justice and equality.

The problems of people who need special attention and care fall on you. Your contribution to improving the situation of senior citizens and persons with disabilities, large and low-income families, the unemployed and other socially vulnerable categories of the population is exceptional.

People with a warm heart, for whom providing the necessary assistance to citizens is the main duty, are our inconspicuous heroes who make a significant contribution to strengthening the country. Your work requires not only hard work and a conscientious attitude to business, but also emotional sensitivity, great patience, and the ability to empathize. It is your participation and support that instill confidence in people, give them strength to overcome difficult life trials. Thank you for everything!
