Within the framework of a multi-level system of social protection of the population, a person with a disability is provided at the basic level with a state social benefit from the budget, additionally for working citizens disability social payment is made from the State Social Insurance Fund and in case of loss of professional disability payments are made by insurance companies.

Persons with disabilities are covered by rehabilitation programs and with compensatory and technical means.

As of September 1, 2023, state support measures are being implemented for more than 700 thousand people with disabilities.
