Astana hosted the fifth anniversary Republican exhibition entitled "The Best Social Projects Implemented in Kazakhstan". The event was organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the sponsorship of Samruk-Kazyna NWF JSC and Baiterek National Managing Holding JSC
The competition commission determined the best social projects of this year:
1. “Available. Conveniently. Beautiful”, author Seitbekova Nurgul Seitbekkyzy, Almaty (1st place – 2 million tenge);
2. "WORK FOR EVERYONE", author Yeschanov Sanash Sagandykovich, Kostanay (2nd place - 1.5 million tenge);
3. “Service maintenance and repair of disabled equipment “Inva-STO”, author Erdildinova Dina Islamovna, Astana (3rd place and 1 million tenge).
According to the results of the Internet voting, three projects received the most support:
1. “Ramp-Ok” creating an accessible environment for people with limited mobility” from Aktobe region, 6276 votes, project author: Zhuldasbaev Shahan Shahmaranovich;
2. "Involving young people with disabilities in accessible sports" from the Almaty region, 5941 votes, project author: Khodjamuratov Tazhigali Abdizhamilovich;
3. "Noble help, brave people" from the Karaganda region, 5590 votes, author of the project: Suleimenova Aliya Rakombetovna.
In addition, the Ramp-OK project received a special prize for the relevance of the issue and 500,000 tenge.
In total, 155 applications were submitted from all regions of Kazakhstan, from which 20 projects were selected to participate in voting at the republican level.
The best social projects were divided into six areas: carrying out rehabilitation activities for people with disabilities, providing support to people in difficult situations, providing special social services, employment of people with disabilities, and others.
Non-governmental organizations, public associations, organizations of the disabled, individuals, other institutions and departments, whose activities are aimed to develop the system of population social protection and improving the system of providing special social services, took part in the Exhibition.
The purpose of this event was to attract the attention of the civil society to problems of people in difficult life situations.
In general, over 5 years, 650 applications were submitted to participate in the competition for the title of "Best Social Project", from which 114 social projects became winners in the regions.
During the specified period, the contestants received support in the form of state social orders, grants and borrowed funds. As a result, more than three hundred thousand people in the regions who found themselves in a difficult life situation received timely assistance.
