Within the framework of the Regional Social Security Forum of the International Social Security Association of Europe, a panel session “Key priorities for social security in Europe: Progress, challenges and solutions” was held with the participation of the heads of social institutions of European countries. The session discussed current events in the fields of social security in Europe and Kazakhstan, a discussion was held to assess the impact of the pandemic on the social security system and determine a strategy for its further development.

Of particular interest to foreign colleagues were innovative solutions taken in Kazakhstan, in particular, the development of electronic public services in the social sphere.  

In the system of compulsory social insurance, the share of public services provided in electronic format reached 35% in 2021.
