The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a solemn meeting dedicated to the national holiday – Republic Day, which is celebrated on October 25.

The event was attended by employees of the central office of the Ministry.

The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan Svetlana Zhakupova congratulated the team on the upcoming holiday, thanked for the work carried out and the contribution to the development of the social and labor sphere of independent Kazakhstan.

"In the last year's Address to the people, the Head of State announced the initiative to create a new Kazakhstan and appointed October 25 as the main holiday of the country. Within the framework of this initiative, political modernization and transformation of the economy have begun.

Today, the Ministry has adopted many laws in the field of social protection. Program documents have been developed to improve the quality of life of our people. In particular, in the Social Code which was adopted this year, all legislation in the social sphere was grouped into one system, and a new set of quality standards was achieved.

I congratulate my colleagues on the Republic Day! Your hard work to improve the welfare of Kazakhstanis allows you to optimally implement the country's social policy. I wish you prosperity, success and tireless strength! May your homes be filled with happiness and blessing," said Svetlana Zhakupova .

During the event, 20 participants of the ministry and subordinate organizations received various state and departmental awards: the order "Kurmet", medals "Eren enbegi ushin" and "veteran of Labor", Awards "Excellence in the field of social Labor", letters of honours and letters of thanks.
