In the newspaper "Kazakhstanskaya Pravda" dated August 24 of this year posted an article by the President of JSC "SSIF" Saule Dyusenova "Social insurance - a system of social justice"
Within the framework of this article, the author informs the reader about the system of compulsory social insurance, introduces the main areas of work of the State Social Insurance Fund, the possibilities of obtaining public services of the fund, including in electronic format through the e-government portal.
It is noted that since the introduction of the mandatory social insurance system in Kazakhstan, more than 3.5 million people have received social benefits from the State Social Insurance Fund for a total amount of more than 825 billion tenge.
The system of compulsory social insurance has become the most important and necessary element of the socio-economic relations of modern Kazakhstan. Its fundamental difference from other types of insurance is that it provides protection against financial insecurity and is built on the principle of social justice.
Social insurance covers only people living off their own labor, whose main source of livelihood is wages or business income. The SFSS is designed to support the working population, and social contributions are a guarantee of insurance against possible social risks.
