Starting from January 1, 2024, the amount of social payments for disability and loss of breadwinner will increase in Kazakhstan. The corresponding resolution was signed by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov.

In particular, the document provides an increase from January 1, 2024 by 7% in the amount of designated social payments in case of disability and loss of breadwinner from the State Social Insurance Fund.

The increase will cover about 87 thousand people who have lost their ability to work, and 59 thousand families who have lost a breadwinner. More than 5 billion tenge will be additionally allocated for these purposes.

To remind, in accordance with the Social Code, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan annually increases the amount of payments for disability and loss of breadwinner.
